Wow, I can't imagine getting bored with God or the life He gives us. So many challenges and fun experiences with people. I love watching God work in my life and those around me. Don't get me wrong, it's only really fun when I'm putting more trust in Him. Which I don't do as much as I should. The world is so complex that most of the time I'm overwhelmed. But when I give up trying to figure things out with my own intellect and stop trying to control the things that scare me or make me angry-like when I think my or someone elses rights have been violated, I actually get a glimpse of the spiritual reality that surpasses my understanding and whoa baby, what a great way to live.
Jesus is the master designer who is also the lover of our souls-how cool is that!
He has got the whole world in His hands ...
Simple yet mind blowing ...
May be a little faith thrown in His direction isn't such a bad or stupid idea!
Well, we sure do miss Cori around here. Kate couldn't sleep tonight and came down at around midnight, very tearful, saying she missed Cori. It was hard to just see Cori at the airport and then say good bye. Cori is the lightness in our home. She has that sparkle that lights up the room, making everything else seem brighter, without creating a relentless focus on herself. Cori has an unassuming way of making the dreariness of winter fade into background while spreading a joyful atmosphere in our home, making everyone happy to be alive! Our Cori has that magical combination of direct honesty mixed with humble acceptence. She tells the truth without making people feel judged. I love that about my Cori. I think she is so awesome and so special. Our lives without her lack interest, laughter, generosity and reality checks! Cori we can't last another day with out you!
It's time to get reaquainted with you all out there in Xanga Land. I'm always getting on my grown up daughter, Cori, for not writing in her Xanga. I guess I should put up or shut up!
Not much to say, it's about 1:30 AM. I'm reading from cover to cover C.S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters. I'm enjoying it thoroughly! Very insightful and fassinating. I have a lot to think about in the ways I participate with evil.
I bless each one of my dear and sweet friends. May our prayers never cease on behalf of our Local and Global neighbors who suffer and who are in need of knowing Jesus' presence.
